Who Broke What?

Yes, James broke his wrist in two places. He was at the park by grandma and grandpa's house and fell off the slide. Grandpa and me took him to the hospital last night for x-rays. He was not happy about going. He just kept saying this was the worse evening ever. He came home with a temporary cast. We had to go to a Pediatric Orthopedic surgeron today for the permament cast. They have lots of colors to chose from for the cast. James chose green. He is in much better spirits today. He will have the cast on for about 4 weeks.( hopefully when they take it off his wrist is healed and will not need another cast. )So if you see James around...ask if you can sign his cast.

I can't wait to see your cast, James. I'm sure Paul is being a great big brother and helping you feel better. Aunt Terri
Grandma didn't push him off the slide, did she?? ha ha Just teasing my favorite sister. Hope James is feeling ok - but I bet he would have liked it better if it got him out of school. love ya, annie
James, I like your choice of color for your cast. Get well soon. Love Nana
James, the cast is very hard, if your brother causes any trouble, you can use it like a sword or even a club and knock him in the head with it!
Love you Bud!

Spencer came home from church last night and couldn't wait to tell me about this big green thing on James arm. Poor James, hope he's feeling better.
oh, one more thing. Thanks for the shoes, Spencer LOVES those shoes and never wants to take them off. He tells everyone that he's wearing James shoes.
