I have to think back to around 1978 as the last time I had so much fun in the snow. I was about 9 years old then and felt like one again today. Sherri and Joyce went to the church today for some activities so I stayed home with the boys. I had the crazy idea to take the boys sledding. I went over to my neighbors house and asked Tom if he wanted to go with his two boys. We decided to just make it a dads and boys day out. We threw the sleds in the car and went to Schraeder park in Manchester. When we arrived there was a few people already there and several trails were already groomed. There were some longer ones and some fast ones. We chose the fast ones. I rode down the hill with both Paul and James the first time and that was it. They did it by themselves the rest of the time and they flew down the hill. We were only going to stay for 45 minutes but ended being there nearly 2 hours. Afterward we went to Mcdonalds for some food and to warm up. It was just one of those days that I will always remember and I hope the boys do too.
