Baseball Fever......

Never mind it was 105 degrees this last Tuesday night. Never mind I flew in to the airport and arrived at the ballpark within a few minutes of the game starting. Never mind that we lost the game by more than a few runs. All that didnt matter, because I got to see my son Paul's first baseball game or any organized team sport. It is machine pitch so it is not pleasing to the artistic baseball eye, but it was poetry in motion for me. Paul got two hits in two at bats. He fielded a couple ground balls and nearly caught a popup. He was named the MVP of the game by the coach!!!!! In his first game!!!! I was one proud Dad.

We are in California this week so I will post pictures when we get back from vacation.

I wish I was also at Paul's game. Paul is a lot like his Dad. He will be a great baseball player. Nana
